
Vasily Andreev
Vasily was born in 1985 and has been skating since the age of 4 at the sports school for children and juniors in Kirov. At 10 years old he moved to ice dancing and joined the National team of Russia. His coach was I. F. Fedorovyh and also got the chance to train with Oxana Domina – the leader of Russian ice-dancing National team.
At the age of 17 Vasily finished his amateur career and left for St Petersburg. Here he joined the troupe of State ballet on Ice and performed in many shows.
Vasily’s passions are cars and historical books.
Ekaterina Burseva
Born in 1987, Ekaterina started figure-skating when she was 6 years old, achieving the Master of Sport title in 2003 whilst practicing under the command of the honored coach of Russia, Yelena Vodorezova.
Having participated in many Russian junior championships, Ekaterina won many medals including the cup of Russia. Completing her competitive sports career in 2005, Ekaterina has since worked on numerous ice shows.
When Ekaterina has spare time, she enjoys nail art and design.
Yevgen But
Yevgen was born in Dnepropetrovsk in 1973 and started to train in figure-skating when he was 5 years old. At 10 he moved to ice dancing together with I. Chubarez and S. Shklyar with N. Zelenskaya and Tatyana Navka.
From 1993 to 1996 Yevgen has been working in the Igor Bobrin’s Ice Shows and later worked in the English production of Phantom of the Opera on Ice, directed by Tony Mercer Since 1998 Yevgen has been working in the international tour Holiday on ice and is very excited to have joined The Imperial Ice Stars in 2008 and work again with Tony.
Yevgen enjoys cinema, travelling, computer games and design.Svitlana Gorishna
Svitlana Gorishna was born in 1988 and has been skating since she was 4. Trained in the Ukraine, Svetlana started ice dancing when she was 7 and was coached by V.V.Еgorov and S. I. Chernikova. With her first ice partner, Pavlo Metlenko, he and Svitlana went on to win many international competitions.
Currently at university, Svitlana is excited about joining the Imperial Ice Stars.
Anastasia Gorshkova
Born in Ekaterinburg in 1987, Anastasia is the daughter of the world famous trainer Alexei Gorshkov. Her achievements include bronze at the Junior World Championships and Master of Sports Junior Championships.
Anastasia has also achieved great success with her ice dance partner, Ilya Tkachenko, winning Russian and international competitions during their time together.
Anastasia admits she can’t live without music and the sea. She likes shopping, jazz-class, driving, roller-blading, singing with her friends and … sleeping.
Anastasiya Ignatyeva
Anastasiya was born in Tver in 1990 and started skating when she was 3 years old at the figure skating school of Tver. Training there until the age of 12, her coach was L.N.Yakovleva. At 13 she left for Moscow and her coach became I.S.Rusakov and later N. М. Моzer. Under coach insistence she moved to pair figure skating and partnered with Vitaliy Dubina winning the Russian Cup Final in 2005 and participating in any international competitions.
Anstasiya later partnered with Mikhail Bolshedvorsky and went on to win the Championship in St Petersburg.
She is a big lover of all things sweet and loves spending her free time in the company of friends.Sergey Karelin
Having skated since the age of 4, Sergey was coached by N. М.Samsonova until the age of 17.
Having won many Russian competitions, Sergey went in to study ice-acrobatics for 2 years. At the age of 20 he became an artist with the Moscow ballet on ice. For 5 years he took part in various performances and at the age of 25 came to the UK with an ice show. One year later Sergey joined Holiday on Ice and performed with them until 2006. His shows included Aladdin, Extraventura, In Concert and Diamonds.
Sergey is fond of horseback riding and hunting and is a fan of Formula-1. His favorite driver is Michael Schumacher.
Nataliia Karpych
Nataliia was born in Odessa and began to skate when she was 6 years old. At 9 she became an ice dancer under the supervision of her trainer А. B. Тushanovskiy. Her amateur career was then finished in 1992 and the beginning of a show-career for Nataliia opened with the participation in the Kiev show, Ballet on Ice, in 1994. From 1996 till 2008 she has performed in the international tour of Holiday on ice.
Nataliia confesses that she can’t live without travelling. She is fond of home design, sewing and knitting.
Ilya Klimkin 
Born in 1980, Ilya Klimkin began his ice skating at the age of 4 years old, and became world champion at Junior Level. In senior competition, he claimed bronze in the European Championship and Silver in the Championship of Russia.
Trained by I Rusakov for over ten years, their great working relationship created some of the most complex and well choreographed programmes of the time, reaching world standards. Ilya was the first figure-skater to do two different quadruple hop jumps (salkov and toe loop) in one programme and is one of the few figure-skaters, who can make rotations both clockwise and anti-clockwise. His performances show unity of motions, music and feelings.
Ilya is fond of computers technologies and likes football, basketball, tennis and volleyball.
Anna Lopatochkina
Anna was born in 1988 and started training when she was 4. Her first coach, М. I. Zaharova took her to become a member of National Russian female team for figure-skating where she became the winner in many competitions held in Russia. In 2004 Anna finished her amateur career and went to St Petersburg. Here she joined the troupe of The State Ballet on Ice and now performs in shows regularly.
Always active, Anna’s passions are her family and friends.
Yevgen Lukashenko
Yevgen Lukashenko was born in Kiev in 1983.
Skating from an early age, Yevgen has won the Ukrainian Figure Skating championship title, including achieving the candidate of Master Title. In 2005 Yevgen started to work in professional ice shows and has mastered the skills of acrobatic skating including on skating on stilts.
In his spare time, Yevgen loves cooking.
Mikhail Magerovskiy
Mikhail was born in Moscow in1986 and began his skating at the age of 5 at the open air ice rink near his house.
His first trainer was V.N. Panfilova and when he was 10 he began to train with the famous trainer V.N. Kudryavzev who helped him participate in many competitions. Mikhail's achievements include being the prize-winner at Junior Grand -Prix of China twice - in 2002 and 2004. He was also the bronze prize-winner of Russian Cup in 2005 and won the national competition of Israel also. At the age of 19 he started to train with E.G. Vodorezova.
Mikhail's hobbies are hockey and football and he is fond of reading Russian and foreign literature.
Taras Manko
Taras was born in Semipalatinsk in the Kazakhstan Republic and didn’t take his first steps on ice until he was 7 years old when his family moved to Perm. Here he was coached by V.F. Тyukova.
When he was ten years old Taras passed to another coach - Е. B. Patlasov and under her supervision became the prize-winner of the Russian Cup Stages several times. He also participated in various Russian and international competitions over the course of many years.
Taras is fond of football, snowboard and music.
Pavlo Metlenko
Born in 1988, Pavlo Metlenko began training in Kharkov at the age of 8. Coached by V.V. Еgorov, Pavlo’s first ice partner was Anastasiya Kirichenko with whom he skated for 3 years. He later paired with Svitlana Gorishna and have been skating together for 7 years.
In his free time, Pavlo likes to go bowling with his friends and is fond of music and computer games.
Alexandra Nozik
Alexandra was born in St. Petersburg and started skating when she was 7 years old, obtaining the Sport Master title in 2001.
On completing her sports career Alexandra entered the circus studio, which was under the direction of Kudrina, the specialist team focusing on equilibrium and air gymnastics. In 2004 Alexandra started working in the Circus on ice in Mexico.
Alexandra loves painting, her cat, Mosha, and collecting ornamental pigs.
When Ekaterina is not working her hobbies include handicraft, cooking and reading modern literature.Ekaterina Orlova
Ekaterina has been skating since the age of 4 and at the age of 6 went on to train at the gymnastics school, coached by the Olympic champion of 1988, Е.N.Shevchenko as well as V.I.Кuznezova and Е.B.Кuznezova. In 2001 she joined the team of Russia in sport gymnastics and became the winner of many international competitions as well as the Championships and Cups in Russia.
In 2006 she decided to leave her first sport of gymnastics and was invited to join Ilya Averbukh’s company and be trained by Maria Orlova to perform her gymnastic movements and elements on ice. This move gave Ekaterina the opportunity to combine her 2 sport loves and achieved her dream when she performed for the first time at an awards ceremony in Moscow.
When Ekaterina is not working her hobbies include handicraft, cooking and reading modern literature.
Ekaterina Ragozina
Ekaterina was born in Perm and since the age of 6 trained in the sports school for children and juniors in Оrlenok with her coach V. F.Тyukova. At 10 years old Ekaterina started to skate with her partner Pavel Slyusarenko winning many International Russian competitions including the Russian Cup Stages. When Ekaterina has free time she likes to shop and spend time in the company of her friends.
Alexander Ryabinin
Alexander was born on the 26th of May 1979 and started figure skating at the age of 4. In 1995 he became master of sport and is the winner of the Russian championship. Completing competitive skating a few years later, Alexander began to work in the St. Petersburg’s theatre on ice and performed shows such as the “Russian Ice Show” in Mexico. Alexander then went on to work for Holiday On Ice in 2005 where he performed around the world for two years.
David Smirnov
David started his skating career at the age of four in the Orelenok skating school led by the trainer Е. B. Patlasova. At 14 years old he was given the opportunity to be coached by V. N. Kudryavzev.
David has won many competitions, including the Russian Cup stages, bronze at the competitions in Tallin and has reached the finals of Grand-Prix.
When he has some free time, David like to play football and basketball as well as having a passion for martial arts. He also enjoys music.
Marina Varankina
Marina was born in Pervouralsk in 1986 and since the age of 5 has been trained by her coach N. А. Serebrennikova. When she was 15 years old Marina moved to the group of synchronistic skating and together with her team partners participated in Russian Championships and international competitions. In 2006 they won the bronze medal at the Championship of Russia.
Her hobbies include sport and travelling. She also loves relaxing.
Tatiana Yaryshkina
Born in Moscow, Tatiana Yaryshkina took her first steps on the ice at the age of 4 and began training with L.I.Chernyshova from the age of 7. In 1990 Tatiana moved to the sport school for children and juniors and was coached by L.V.Fomicheva. From here she went on to win the Moscow championships twice.
Having been fond of foreign languages, Tatiana decided to take this further and went to University, achieving a qualification for interpreter. She is also interested in music and plays the guitar.
Elena Yovanovich
Born in Belgrade, Elena Yovanovich has been skating from the age of 3. Up Until the age of 14, Elena was a single figure skater and won the Championships of Yugoslavia and Serbia numerous times in the child and junior sectors of competitions. From 14 she started to skate in a pair with Vladislav Zhovnirskiy, coached by N. М. Моzer. They performed together at numerous International grand prix competitions winning a number of medal places
Following the success of their partnership, Elena and Vladislav went on to perform professionally in various ice shows, including Romeo and Juliet, Holiday on Ice, Peter Pan and Igor Bobrin’s Theatre. They also participated in an international tour produced by Ilya Averbukh.
In her spare time, Elena likes shopping, travelling and photography.
Vladislav Zhovnirskiy
Vladislav was born in Kiev and has been skating since the age of 3. When he was15 years old, Vladislav moved to Moscow and started to train under the supervision of the coach N .М. Моzer. Joining the National team of Russia in pair figure-skating, he was skating in a pair with Viktoriya Maksyuta and won the Championship among juniors in 1996 and Universiade in 1998. In 1999 Vladislav went into the all-star triplet at the stage of Skate America.
From 2000 until now, Vladislav performs in a pair with Elena Jovanovich. After becoming professionals they participated in Czech ice-show of Romeo and Juliet and were the leading figure-skaters in the European show Holiday on ice.
Vladislav likes music and good books.
